Tale
An agnostic sex podcaster and a newly single rabbi fall in love; find out whether their relationship will survive, despite their completely different lives and family interference. It was originally called «Shiksa», which is also the last word spoken in the first episode. I really liked this! Romantic comedies always follow the same formula, but this one has many strengths – + I FELT the chemistry between the main characters. It sounded natural and harmonious. They played their characters so well! + Dialogues and relationships between characters seemed funny, witty and touching in the best way. + In a world that encourages representation, this is the first time I’ve seen a Jewish man’s love interest. I think he showed the beautiful and inclusive side of religion without putting it on a pedestal in any way. Great script, great cast, and incredible chemistry made it a binge for me, followed by a quick search for «Will there be a season 2?». I liked it!
