Superboys of Malegaon is a film based on the life of Nasir Shaikh, an amateur filmmaker from the city of Malegaon. The residents of the city turn to Bollywood cinema to escape their daily routine. Nasir is inspired by the people of Malegaon to make a film for the people of Malegaon. He brings together his motley crew of friends to bring his vision to life, giving the city a new look. The film is a heartwarming and moving look at cinema and friendship, and what happens when these two worlds collide.
